After the turn of the new year, Seth started living in his new house which is located on our south ranch. He did nearly all the work himself, which was slow going at times.


The main part of the house has hickory wood flooring. The cabinets are oak. There is staining and varnishing of trim to do yet, and of course, landscaping.


A nasty wind (maybe a tornado?) lifted our calf shelter off the ground and dropped it upside down in the shelterbelt.

Who would have guessed several years ago that we would be making so many trips to Lubbock?  Six of us made the 900 mile trek in July. This was taken in Palo Duro Canyon. Don and his sisters, Marci Wiedebush, Karen Geditz.

The four of us spent an enjoyable Sunday afternoon cycling around the Aberdeen area. Don, Peg, Kevin, and Seth.


Cody & Wesley loved hosting Grandpa Ralph & Grandma Barb Zieger during our January visit to Lubbock.

A careless person started a stubble field on fire, just 2 1/2 miles south of our place.


We did not have our "fire truck" ready to go yet on that day. Cody is leaning out in the dugout, trying to get a suction going to fill the water tank as Don looks on.


The pheasant hunting in South Dakota was great in 2010. Don, Warren Skinner, Jerry Cotton, Donnie Ehlers and his dogs.
