In September Seth began building a new house on the existing basement at our south ranch. He hired a contractor to frame it up, and has been finishing the remainder of the work himself with help from his Dad and Grandpa Ralph Zieger. The going has been slow with the onset of a challenging winter, getting the sale bulls ready, and then calving.

Abby, a border collie puppy bred on the Schott Ranch, joined our family in June..
